ENGAGING CHILDREN & YOUTH is one of the five areas of impacts in NMI. NMI continues to encourage churches to involve children and youth in all missions endeavors and to nurture them as they seek to respond to God’s call.  NMI encourages every church, every district to be intentional and encourage and engage every child, every youth in the mission of God in your community and around the world. NMI continues to encourage churches to involve children and youth in all missions endeavors and to nurture them as they seek to respond to God’s call.  We encourage collaboration with Nazarene Youth International and Nazarene Discipleship International to best engage all ages of the church. We believe nurturing and leadership development is best done in the local church and individualized to the needs of each person.

KIDS KALEIDOSCOPE

NMI Central supplement for children, released on the first Wednesday of each month.

  •  Find the Kaleidoscope icon in the NMI Central, and click on the word here.

    • Choose the Kaleidoscope in your desired language and use the arrow pointing down to a straight line in the top right-hand corner to complete the download.

  • Kids Kaleidoscope should be used along with NMI Central. The story in NMI Central is the resource material for the focus of Kids Kaleidoscope…these two resources need one another!

  • Kids Kaleidoscope includes information, activities, recipes, crafts, games, and more to help provide missions learning based on the needs and context of the audience.

  • Each month has different activities, providing varied learning approaches for every type of learner.

Bike-A-Thon

The Bike-a-Thon will be held on June 2025 at the VNRC in Buckingham, VA during The Great Gathering (District Assembly/Family Camp).

Every year money is raised to help a Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Special Project. More information on how to raise money, who to give it to, and other logistics will be coming out closer to June. But for now, mark your calendars! This will be a great event!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. You can reach Kristen at kristenguizar@gmail.com.
